The directions seemed simple enough.
Laziza brand loki halwa mix (125 g.; $1.50), from Pakistan, is a "pumpkin sweet" (squash, really) prepared with milk and a little ghee or cooking oil. It did turn out sweet, almost overly so, but after cooking it down to the proper thickness, I found myself with a dessert that was pasty brown rather than pretty green.
