An almost subaudible buzz lured me across the street to the mouth of this produce market. Inside, I recognized the sound of many, many plastic bags being filled with fruits and vegetables.
Dried persimmons (five for $1.99) were much moister than the version sold streetside in Singapore; wish these had a little more flavor.
