For the first few hours at Jazzfest, I thought Crawfish bread was a hoax, jazzfest legend, nola urban myth. Then, my husband spotted it while searching for the equally elusive ATM's. Yes, it was a bit cheesy-- mozarella or swiss at that. It would be good with some Lousianna Hot which was also lacking at the fest. Looking forward to sampling some other variations on the craw-bread. Did you happen upon Acme's Crawfish Puppies? That won my yummiest fried item of the trip!
