Excellent produce section, even if all I had a mind for today was a Macintosh (90 cents, at $1.99 per pound). Wish I had 24/7 options like this in my neighborhood.

On a previous visit, Santander dark chocolate, 70 percent cacao (70 g.; $2.49), a Columbian single-origin chocolate from the Eastern state of Santander, had a bitter and somewhat floral aroma that turned assertive, and a little nutty, on the tongue. A small portion, held in reserve for the next morning, outmatched my mug of supermarket French roast coffee.

I enjoyed going to Gracefully when we shared that apartment on east 5th street. Nice to have a place like that nearby early in the morning and late at night.
