9th St. Bakery

This isn't a big place, but even the winnowed-down early evening selection prompted several minutes of decision-making. A blueberry turnover ($1.35) was exceptionally light and very sweet; I'd like to catch one or two of these coming out of the oven.

A later visit enabled me to vouch for the apple turnover, too. Another time, a giant golden chocolate roll ($1.35) was buttery, a little stiff, but very chocolaty.
