(This venue is closed.) Just off the main drag, the Middle Eastern eatery formerly known as Uncle Mina is now under Egyptian ownership, as you'll quickly gather from the artwork in the small seating area in back. That might be the best place to rest your elbows while you munch on the namesake sandwich ($3.50), a pita messily stuffed with falafel, tahini, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Accede to the counterwoman's cheery suggestion and add the spicy sauce.
