It's no meal for a jockey: At "the riding crop," the parrillada for one ($24.50), a towering mixed grill of skirt steak, short ribs, blood sausage, tripe, and sweetbreads, is better treated as a parrillada for two. (I might have made a bigger dent, if not for the mixed salad and one of the hefty, thick-crusted, well-spiced meat empanadas ($2.50). The low-lit interior features a scattering of equestrian-themed artwork, with a simple, homey appeal for Argentinean expats — including many residents from nearby Elmhurst Hospital, should you take on that parrillada single-handed.
