The Filipino comfort food called pancit palabok (Pan-sit pah-Lah-book) is a specialty at Mayon. This street-fair-sized portion ($3) combined soft, thick rice noodles with an orange sauce flavored by some combination of shrimp, fish, and pork, and further freighted with hardboiled egg.
