Steuben Parade

You'll find colorful costumes and marching bands, many harking back to the Revolutionary War, but you're unlikely to find much food along the way. At the most recent Steuben Parade I didn't attempt to join the after-party — which boasted a long line willing to pay for the opportunity to enter the festival tent and pay again for food — but a number of floats lightened their load by handing out snacks like Leibniz brand "butterkeks" (15 g.). Caught a few hard candies, too.
