Treats Truck

"Not too fancy, always delicious," the menu from the Treats Truck — baked in Red Hook and served from a parking spot that changes by the day — includes this palate-sticking peanut butter sandwich cookie (special, with chocolate creme; $2) and its jaunty, sweeter sidekick, the caramel creme sandwich (with vanilla; $1.75). Though it runs on compressed natural gas, the Treats Truck itself has a retro feel, too — even to the extent of a (probably unintended) Thunderbirds reference.
