La Unica Bakery

Why this is called a "Malasian," I have no idea.

That's how this apple pastry (and two other non-Asian flavors) was labeled, with that spelling; the owner herself wasn't around to tell me more. Cakey, but nice for 65 cents.

Missed the owner again on a return visit; caught an empanada de gallego ($3) stuffed with shredded chicken, peas, a few bits of green pepper. I'm familiar with single-serve empanadas, but this double-crusted version, named for the Galicia region of Spain, was a new one on me.
