Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop

The donut shop that wouldn't grow up.

My server sported a nose ring, true, but most of the customers were closer in vintage to the two well-worn horseshoe-shaped counters. Peter Pan still serves egg creams (which I haven't tried) and bakes a decidedly untrendy selection of pastries. This raised donut coated with sugar (80 cents) is about as simple and sweet as it gets.

Their donuts, when fresh, are some of the best we've ever had.
