The market is bustling as ever, but the mural has vanished.
This cheery artwork wrapped around the southwest corner of the building, so unless you walked out the emptier end of Chelsea Market (or looked to the right as you pulled up to Del Posto), you may not have noticed it. This mural was never my favorite, but it lent a bright touch to a brown stretch of Tenth Ave., so I wonder: Why are these walls scrubbed bare?
