I have a relatively recent affection for blood sausage — Florent's dense, slightly peppery links are also offered with apples and onions, as an appetizer or an entree — so to recreate my long-ago order, I'd have swapped in bacon for the boudin noir (with two scrambled, fries, toast; $11.50). To recapture that earlier experience, I'd have timed things differently, too: Though I still enjoy my breakfast in the a.m., these days the sun is up, and bedtime is a long way off.
This pioneering bistro of the Meatpacking District was and is open 24/7 until its last day of business, June 29.

Thanks for posting this. I had my last Sunday morning breakfast there today. So sad...
