When I pulled up to the Dessert Truck just a half-hour into its evening, the ongoing special, a chilled dark chocolate mousse bombe coated in dark chocolate and cocoa nibs, was already 86'ed — taken for a ride, no doubt, by devoted customers with better timing. I made do with this milk chocolate and peanut butter mousse ($5, like all desserts on the menu); the caramel popcorn was testimony to its lightness.
