Destination Dining for "El Día de los Muertos"?

Bright and new, it wouldn't be good for the restaurant business, but that four-storey painted sign for the dearly departed Theodore Wolinnin funeral parlor was fading long before Yuca Bar came on the scene. Today it's clearly visible only in bright sunlight (here's a better look). As it happens, the sign points to an address (123 East 7th St.) that's a little ways down the block, toward First Ave.; after the funeral parlor closed, it was converted into the original location of the vintage clothing store Resurrection.

El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) is celebrated each year on November 1 and 2. Yuca Bar is likely too pan-Latin for this traditionally Mexican event, but there's a full bar to help you kill off a few brain cells, if that's your thing.
