Go for the gold.
This market is much better known for its exuberant display of spices, and a like number of modestly colored bulk grains, than for packaged goods or baked items, but you'll always be greeted by trays of housemade halvah, baklava, and other Greek specialties, like this moist, honey-sweet slab of almond cake ($3.50).
