Instead of a clean cross-section of "poultry terrine," the featured item of this turducken dinner ($32.95, for the version with shrimp-crawfish-rice stuffing) arrived all in a heap, backstopped by a yam marshmallow casserole, jalapeño cornbread, a wad of smoked garlic mashed potatoes, and small tumblers of gravy and cranberry sauce. Perhaps it's not so simple to slice; if you'd like to try your hand, Mara's catering menu includes a whole turducken (about 15 pounds, at $12.50 per pound cooked or $8.25 per pound uncooked) during the winter holidays.
