I was tipped to El Charrito in a Chowhound post by adamclyde, who seems to spend more time in my hometown than I do.
He hyped the huarache; I had at the Sunday special, a bowl of the tripe-and-bean soup called menudo ($3.50). I doubt you can go wrong either way, or with any of ten tacos that headline the regular menu. Just watch out for weekend crowds: On Saturdays and Sundays in warmer weather, you'll be competing with hungry soccer players from neighboring Jackie Robinson Park.
