If you're reading this post you've almost certainly seen my photo of Ruth Ades-Laurent here on Eating In Translation. Perhaps you've also seen it on Serious Eats, on Gothamist, and (misattributed, not for the first time) on Grub Street. Today my photo appears in the print and online editions of the New York Post, which also reports that you can purchase your own peeler from the daughter of beloved pitchman Joe Ades at the Union Square Greenmarket on Saturdays, weather permitting.
My photo was also featured on NY1's daily roundup In The Papers, where it appears in the closing item. Note, though, that the family name is properly pronounced "Ah-dess."
