Thick toast clamps tight on eight fat fried shellfish in Casamento's trademark oyster loaf (half, $6.45; also whole; $12.90).
It also holds up well against butter sauce, which I prefer to the familiar New Orleans lettuce-tomato-mayo. Horseradish and hot sauce are on hand for extra zing; iced tea ($1.75) is ideal for washing it down. Overdo either one, and you'll find the restrooms after a stroll through the genial kitchen and halfway along the small grassy back yard.
