A fellow stranger in these parts, methinks.
I never expected to meet up with rugelach in New Orleans (though at one time I never thought to look in Harlem, either). In early afternoon, this one wasn't as soft or flaky as I'd like, but where else would you find a rugele featuring Southern pecans, and for only 25 cents?
