Double shot of my red bean's love.
Double only because I bent this pastry back where it (like its fellows) had been crudely scored, probably to release excess heat while in the oven, revealing numerous pastry layers and a smoky-flavored filling (70 cents). If you wake up one morning feelin' bad, you might be happier with one (or two) of this tiny bakery's full-sized and mini egg tarts; they come highly regarded.
