I can't speak for the provenance of the figs.
The cup was thin, very firm, perhaps a bit overbaked; the cream within lacked body. As a whole, this fig tart ($3.75) did little for me. Would a visit earlier than early evening have made a difference?

Almond croissants are the way to go at Claude's

I agree with the croissant comment. Claude is recently back from his August hiatus and croissants and brioche are what to eat here.
