My first thought was Buzz Lightyear, but big eyes aside, this eatery's mascot — here, spray-painted on the rolled-down security shutters — might be costumed for a session of Halo instead. Whatever his game, he's certainly a generation or two beyond his former self, still depicted on the awning in a chef's toque. Can you name this café? (Please post your answer in the comments.)

Oh man, it's Optimash Prime and I know I've seen him somewhere. Hmm.

Potato Cafe was the place, on South 2nd St. in Williamsburg. Optimash Prime, and the cafe, have since spud off into the sunset.
