Linzer tortes, yes, and Christmas pies (reportedly); from years ago I also remember some very good hamentashen. But this chalet-style storefront seems more inclined toward elaborately decorated cakes, both seasonal and to order. A turnover — folded rather than tightly sealed, the better to brandish its apple center — was crisper than the usual. Generous with the filling, too, and with the sugary squiggles on top. The $3.25 tariff is par for the course in tony downtown Greenwich.
