My roast beef and "mutz" was as ample-bodied as the fellows enjoying a few bon mots in the back room; below, that's a half-sandwich ($5.50). The beef, too, was coarsely cut; I prefer it sliced fine, as at John's Deli in Gravesend, Brooklyn, which is also renowned for its dark brown beefy pan drippings. On this one point, Fiore's came up a bit thin.
