This curious pitch, to devotees of French beef stew with a wandering eye turned east, apparently refers to oden. I haven't tried it here.
Previously: The name of this café/takeout is buy-a-vowel shorthand for "omusubi," often simply called "rice balls" even when the presentation is much more elaborate. Below: eel ($2.75) with egg on soy-sauce-flavored rice; yukari plum ($2.25), shiso leaf (yukari) and sesame mixed with rice, wrapped in a pink soy sheet, and topped with fruit purée; and the blue-collar "chicken mix rice" ($2.00), with vegetables and soy sauce.
