This regular-size custard ($4.25) wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped, or as dense and creamy. Note the well-aerated appearance (click the photos for a closer look, if need be), then compare the custard at Shake Shack. Also shown: a "Florida orange" water ice (regularly $3.50, but free during the store's grand opening) was evocative of summer-camp orange drink, which is not one of my favorite memories of summer camp.

The combos of custard + water ice are quite good, though they're usually very big.
