Two "drinking buddies" have been perched above the door, and two more, around the corner, at least as far back as the previous tenant, The Laughing Lion.
They seem very comfortable, however, at the current "King's Feast," the Ridgewood, Queens location of the like-named restaurant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Free-flowing pints are perfect for washing down a four-person meat platter ($40) that includes hock, pierogis, blood sausage, kielbasa, salmon, bigos, pork and chicken skewers, and bacon. One menu item that marks a newer generation of Polish restaurant: "fair trade organic Sumatra served in a French press."
