They're less substantial than appearances suggest.
The ghostly pale strawberries at the bottom of this Georgian compote ($2) disappeared up my skinny straw in a heartbeat. Not overly sweet, and very refreshing — maybe even more so in Tbilisi's quiet back garden, beneath the grapevines. Also available in kiwi, peach, raspberry, and sour cherry, subject to the demands of your fellow compote-quaffers.
