But just a little: This dragon fruit jelly donut (2.30 ringgit, about 73 cents at the time) tasted more like a tweak of strawberry. It was certainly much sweeter than any actual dragon fruit I've tried. Other notables on offer: The cross-hatched, pale green ketupat (upper left) resemble the woven-leaf baskets for which they're named; I passed them up on learning that the filling was simply vanilla custard, not a rice-based blend. The bendera donuts (lower right) display the red, white, and blue of the Malaysian flag on a base of golden fried dough.
