Not that there was trouble in the air (apart from this stall's misspelled sign, perhaps the work of an Eddie Vedder devotee, that read "Purle Yam"). Filipino food that is carefully assembled and more than delicious in Ditmas Park proved extra-tasty when finished on an outdoor grill, especially in sweater weather. Chicken adobo (above, and below with rice and cucumbers, $5).
Also: the spicier of two spreads available for sampling from BaconMarmalade; an arancino al ragu (biteaway view, $3) from Arancini Bros.; quinces whose Greenmarket brethren were made into syrup, spritzed, and served by P&H Soda ($3); and buko (young coconut) pie. Sadly, I missed out on this Purple Yam dessert; by the time I was ready, their line was, deservedly, very long.

The baconmarmalade was really good (according to my mom) and I missed the buko pie too. Had to resort to a taiyaki (which wasn't crispy enough for me) instead. So crowded! A great turnout!
