Behind door number one of this twin-track business on the outskirts of the Garment District, a steam table proffered quite serviceable chicken tikka masala.
My lunch special (below, $6.75) was filled out by cabbage, mixed vegetables, and basmati rice, plus a can of soda. Behind door number two (or via the walk-through inside) is a pizza counter whose wares are just the thin, droopy sort you'd expect at a buck a slice. If not for the cheese and tomato sauce, the sole toppings, a whole pie might double as a doughy antimacassar. I'd hoped for more.
