I still prefer my iced desserts more finely textured.
A snowball, or shave ice, is ideal. Sometimes, though, there's only one option within eyeshot. This taco truck's ice machine cranked out a much coarser product, but the strawberry flavoring of my raspado de fresa ($2) was chunky, and generously applied in layers, too.
