Kulu Desserts

This excavated view of "sawdust pudding" ($4) reveals terraces of cream and finely ground cookie powder. My dining buddy quickly pegged the flavor, if not the texture, as tiramisu. Kulu, a mod little cafe that looks like the template for a chain-to-be, also prepares a variety of tang shui, tang yuan, and other traditional and fusion Hong Kong style sweets.
