Justin

This place is on my commute home, so I've stopped many times for takeout, the only downside being the wait can be 20+ minutes for your food. But this is actually good, as it means everything is freshly cooked to order. There's always a few kinds of whole fish available fried or grilled by the pound. I always get the grilled stripped bass, which usually works out to $10 a fish. Other good dishes are the shrimp scampi, rice (with or without shrimp), tomato/cucumber salad, and the very smokey, best-I've-ever-had baba ganoush (identified as "papa ganoush" on the menu.) Avoid the boring humous and too garlicky stuffed eggplant. I'm told that the other Egyptian seafood place in the neighborhood, Suez Canal on Tonnelle, is as good or better than Morgan, but I've yet to try it.
