All the Japadogs are served on a warm bun, even the dessert dog called Age Ice.
Filled with vanilla, strawberry, green tea, or, soon, black sesame ice cream, at a glance the Age Ice (Ah-gay Ice, $2.99) resembles this Bangkok ice cream sandwich, minus the sticky rice. The Bangkok bun, however, came straight from a bag; at Japadog the bun is quickly deep-fried. The texture, and the light coating of granulated sugar, are reminiscent of a good raised doughnut.
