Layers of flavor.
Kashmiri naan ($3), filled with chopped cashews and almonds as well as many golden raisins, is named for the northern expanse of the subcontinent. It's an outsider at Dosa Garden, whose name signals South Indian cooking, but also a delightful, sweet contrast to a complex vegetarian Chettinadu curry ($9). If this hadn't been my third lunch of a long afternoon, I'd be able to give you a better account of its components, but as you can tell, it gave a welcome jolt to tired tastebuds. Worth a ferry ride, and then some.
