The Chipper Truck

This potato pancake actually resembles a pancake.

Unlike bramboraky and their Eastern European kin, the boxty is fine-grained, so much so that sometimes it's employed as an Irish wrap. Here it plays a supporting role with eggs and beans ($6).

Also shown: beer-battered sausage with salt-and-vinegar chips ($7); a chip butty ($3) dressed with a side order of sweeter-than-spicy curry sauce ($2). Lots of things go great with Irish curry sauce, boxty included.
