In cities dependent on mass transit, here and there you'll find an eatery installed in a neighborhood business such as a laundromat. Where car culture is king, more-expansive settings are desirable. Here the cafe — the long, low tan building at the back — provides its own car wash and keeps company with a service station. I passed at least two other combos of food service and car care this afternoon, all within a healthy walk of one another.
