I Looooooooooooooove banana ketchup. I can drink the stuff straight out of the bottle but I would say it's best eaten with fried chicken.

Dave Cook

Fried chicken? I wouldn't have thought of that; thanks for the tip!

Mich

I used to mix the banana ketchup(not the hot one!) with rice. It will turn out like a Filipino version of Java Rice.

JAVA RICE INGREDIENTS
4 cups cooked rice
2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
oil for sautèing

1. Heat oil in a frying pan. Sautè garlic, onions, and pepper.
2. Add cooked rice and mix well.
3. Pour in ketchup. Stir until well-blended.
