(This venue is closed.) When I stopped by for lunch this afternoon, I was the only non-Asian in evidence, unless you listened hard for the faint sounds of "Fire & Rain." Despite changing its name from the wannabe Funky Broome to the mall-friendly Jazzi Wok, this bright corner restaurant has held onto the same fine chef (they tell me) with the same light touch on the BFT special combination ($14.95). The batter on the fried squid, scallops, and shrimp, so sparing that it was often translucent, only called greater attention to the freshness of the seafood; flavorings included black bean, purple onion, red pepper, celery, and garlic.
