Close to it: These are a thicker-skinned, fried Shanghai specialty called shengjian mantou (four for Y3), and they're juicy indeed; after finishing off this foursome (love those crisp bottoms), I was left with a savory pool of broth that I downed in a gulp. No wonder Yang's has not one but two storefronts near the eastern end of Wujiang Lu, with a long line at each.
