Though it hadn't officially opened, this small Austrian restaurant greeted visitors on International Pickle Day with a grilled bratwurst platter ($5) crowded with rich potato salad and crunchy sauerkraut, and accompanied by sweet (dark brown) and hot (yellow) mustards. Café Katja made a point of putting out pickles, too; while the vegetable samples were well and good, it's the pickled apples that I'll look for on the menu.
