The fellows from Ladder 101 are partial to the pupusas, freshly griddled Salvadoran tortillas that may be stuffed with beans, meat, cheese, the Latin American flower called loroco, or some combination. I like jalapeño-and-cheese (below); the spicy slaw called curtido adds crunch. Also shown below: a simple corn tamal with sour cream ($2).
