From the outside you might get the impression that Parasol's is just an Irish dive; walk in via the bar entrance on the corner and you might be convinced. But sidle between the sports-TV patrons and the pinball and video machines (or simply enter though the dining-room door on the side street), and you can enjoy what might be the most fabulous (and fabulously messy) roast beef po' boy in town ($8.50). Whatever your feelings about the other traditional dressings — lettuce, tomato, and mayo, all of which are little more than accents to the roast beef onslaught — be sure to get pickles, even extra pickles, for a decided sour crunch.
