(This post is based on a visit to the now-closed Cobble Hill location.) The sign was staring me in the face.
And yet, after a spoonful of coffee ice cream (very nice) from Melissa's adjacent cremerie, I settled on her equally unprepossessing sour cream coffee cake (slice, $3). Despite a taste for something sweeter, inexplicably I passed it up, and by the time I rued the missed opportunity — ice cream now, coffee cake for later —— I was already on the subway, headed for Manhattan.
