Above, it's buttressed by sides of sweet potatoes and (hidden) rice and beans. Olive, who hails from Jamaica, has been working her cart (actually an Olson Kurb Van) for 17 years, often beside the plaza of the Harlem State Office Building. Sometimes, she told me, she also does business at The Rucker or near Yankee Stadium. And I have a hazy recollection, supported by an absence of any recent sightings, that the truck hibernates in winter.
