Principally, in fact (the first two Chinese characters suggest as much; so did the counterwoman, after a fashion). Crab-and-pork is a famous combo for xiao long bao, but my crab spawn cake (below; $1.25) — "crab roe" would be a less dramatic translation — seemed to have cast aside seafood entirely.
That said, Ding Tai — the latest in a series of eateries to occupy this location — is much more nicely turned out than its predecessors, with a very welcoming (and, generally, English-speaking) staff. A litany of lunch specials, too, including a straightforward pan-fry of egg and salty radish ($5.50).
